MERRITT, VIRGINIA LEE – Of Grand Blanc, age 78, died Monday, May 9, 2022 at Wellbridge of Grand Blanc.
Per Her wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Virginia was born on February 18, 1944 in Cheboygan, Michigan, the daughter of the late Leonard and Helen (Olson) Gouin.
On May 18, 1960 she married Ralph Merritt in Cheboygan, Michigan.
She was a member of Burton Moose Lodge and Past member of the Eagles.
Surviving are husband, Ralph;
son, Jay Merritt;
daughters, Joni and Jeannie Merritt;
grandchildren, Tyler Merritt, Ashley and husband Justin Minkowski;
great-granddaughter, Avery;
twins on the way;
many nieces and nephews;
sister-in-law, Lena Gouin.
She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
