Ashley C. Beaver
Age 70, of East Tawas, MI and formerly of Burton, MI passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 peacefully at home with his wife by his side. He was born on May 20, 1950 in Flint, MI to the late Charles and Nadine Beaver (nee Bradshaw). Ashley served during Vietnam in the United States Army. His love for his country became a focal point in his life and he was proud of his patriotism. Ashley worked for Buick in Flint for the local 599 for more than 30 years. He married the former Ruth Shaw on June 1, 1970 in Burton, MI. They moved to Wilber Township in 2002 where he enjoyed spending peaceful times around the pond on his property and hunting. Ashley was a witty man who loved to make everyone laugh. He was very proud of his family and he especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. Ashley is survived by his wife Ruth, three daughters, Kelly (Grant) Lehr of East Tawas, MI, Laura (Brad) Dolliver of East Tawas, MI, Amy (Jessica) Beaver of Genesee, MI; six grandchildren, Evan (Karena), Kyler (Danielle), Kendall, Jayden, Taiylor and Tegan. He is also survived by three sisters, Lorali Allen of Flint, MI, Delhia (Tom) Bishop of Burton, MI and Artella (Nanette) Beaver of Burton, MI. In addition to his parents, Ashley was preceded in death two brothers, Johnny and Wesley Beaver and two sisters, Ruthie Blevins and Cheryl Beaver. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
