Linda Diane Hillaker, age 67, of Swartz Creek, died on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at McLaren Flint. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Richard Moore will preside. Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Wednesday, January 15 and again from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, donations can be kindly made to the family.
Linda was born on February 27, 1957 on Flint the daughter of the late Arthur and Lois (Blasdell) Kennedy. She graduated from Swartz Creek High School, class of 1974. Linda met Joseph Hillaker, they dated, fell in love and were united in marriage on April 28, 1979. She worked as Pharmacy Technician with Kroger for 20 years in Davison, Swartz Creek and Flint until her retirement. Linda was an avid shopper and loved going to craft shows and country stores. She loved spending time with her family and she enjoyed flowers and gardens.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Joe Hillaker; two daughters, Trisha Hillaker and Kristin Hillaker; four grandchildren, Aiden, McKenah, Madison and Brennan Raugh; brother, Gregory (Annette) Kennedy; sister-in-law, Lisa (Robert) Worthen; niece, Leslie Sorensen; and special friends, Joyce and Karen.
