DeLaRosa, Annie C. – of Montrose, age 75, died Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at her residence. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Monday, January 5, 2015 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Rev. Fr’s. Gary McInnes and Eduardo Lorenzo officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Sunday from 1-8 PM with a Rosary at 7PM. Family will also receive visitors at the church on Monday from 10 AM until time of mass.
Annie was born November 16, 1939 in Austin, Texas to the late Martin Sr. and Domingo Garza. She married Joseph DeLaRosa on March 3, 1962. She had resided in Montrose the past 39 years. Annie regularly attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. She was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and housewife and had a great love for cooking. Annie cherished time spent with her family.
Surviving are: Husband, Joseph DeLaRosa, Sr; 6 children: Joanne (Gary) Fejedelem, Delores (Robert) Williams, Bertha Shaw, Joseph Jr. (Debbie) DeLaRosa, Theresa (James) Suttle and Consuelo DeLaRosa. 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 3 brothers and several nieces, nephews and god-children. Annie was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Angela DeLaRosa, daughter, Marie Christine Taylor, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
