MARVIN, Wynell – Of Flint, age 83, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, January 10, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating.
Visitation 12-3pm and 5-7pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial of cremains at Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to American Heart Association.
Wynell was born on May 27, 1939 in Cullman, Alabama the daughter of the late Archie and Minnie Easterwood. She was employed at Hurley Hospital as an LPN for 13 years. Wynell married Lorne Marvin on August 19, 1999 and he preceded her in death on June 22, 2010. She enjoyed traveling, biking excursions with Lorne, reading the Bible and tending flowers in her garden. Wynell graduated from Mott Community College in 1978 with her nursing certificate. She was a woman of deep faith and had an immense love of her family. Wynell was the very proud mother of four sons.
She is survived by four beloved sons, Donnie (Janie) McKim, Danny McKim, Dale (Joann) McKim, Randy (Karen) McKim;
grandchildren, Cody (Renata) McKim, Shae McKim, Jeff (Marissa) McKim and Kelsey McKim;
great-grandchildren, Emilia and James
sister, Vickie Stegall;
and several nieces and nephews.
She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille (Earl) Weissend, Judy (John) White, Linda (Robert) Zachery and brother, Ronnie Easterwood.
