Eleftheria was born on February 15, 1932 in Skopia, Greece the daughter of the late Pavlos and Anastasia (Stamboulis) Minos. Growing up in Skopia, Greece, she moved to Toronto, Canada around the age of 26 where she lived with family and worked odd jobs. On May 20, 1962, she married James Demko Rissin and moved to Flint, Michigan for the rest of her life. She went to school to learn English and gained her US citizenship. She enjoyed life at home and being with her children and grandchildren. She was very proud of all of them and loved them very much. She knitted beautifully and made delicious meals and sweets. She kept busy with her church, home, yard, and reading. Diagnosed with dementia several years ago she was still able to lead a good life, though not as active as she once was. She will be missed by her family. She had faith in the Lord and was ready for Heaven. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Orthodox Church of Fenton.
