ASARO, Janice - Of Davison, age 86, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025, at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at 11am Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Hank Messing officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10am until the time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Janice was born in Flint, Michigan on August 25, 1939, the daughter of the late Eugene and Margaret Barrett.
Janice was married for 25 years to Sam Asaro, and together they had four children.
Janice enjoyed playing cards with the friends, cooking, dancing, traveling, bowling and family gatherings. Christmas being her favorite. As long as our family gathered together, she was happy full of love and laughter.
Surviving are children, Sam Asaro, Daria (Tony) Neurohr, and Nicole (David) Hackett;
grandchildren Anthony, Hanna, Abigail, Richie, and Samantha;
great-grandchildren Gracie, Ava, Natalie, and Elizabeth;
sister Patricia.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Elizabeth Asaro and sister Loretta.
