BISHOP, Larry Steve – Of Grand Blanc, age 79, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at his residence in Beaverton.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Robert Flowers officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Larry was born in Bernie, Missouri on January 5, 1943.
On February 2, 1962 he married Dixie Young.
He was a lifetime Mason. He attended New Beginnings Church on Linden Road. He loved the outdoors and hobbies included farming and traveling South to see friends.
Mr. Bishop was employed by Flint V-8 Engine Plant for 37 years, retiring in 1999.
Surviving are wife, Dixie;
daughter, Marsha Beasley;
son, Jeff (Sara) Bishop;
3 grandchildren, Korine Beasley, Carson and Chelsea Bishop;
2 brothers; 1 sister; several nieces and nephews.
