BLAIR, Elaine Carol - age 74, of Byron, died December 2, 2023. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Elaine was born July 30, 1949 in Flint, the daughter of Charles Sidney and Ellen Adeline (Brown) Townsend. She was a graduate of Byron High School and resided in Byron her entire life. Elaine married Gary Blair on October 17, 1981. She retired from General Motors. Elaine enjoyed being up north, bowling and Hallmark movies. Surviving are: husband, Gary Blair; two sons, Richard (Amy) Renshaw and Gary Lee Blair, II; grandchildren, Brooke and Rachel Renshaw, Craig (Allison) and Shelby Brownfield; and Logan Blair; two great-grandchildren; sister, Linda Putnam; brother, Wayne Townsend.
