SEIDEL, Anthony – of Clio, MI, age 84, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023. A Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, in Great Lakes National Cemetery will follow the service. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM until the time of service at Allen Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County, 3325 Dort Highway Flint, MI 48529, in Anthony’s memory.
Anthony was born in Flint on May 19, 1939, son of the late Louis and Mary Kathryn Seidel. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1965. He married Donna Rivard on January 15, 1966 and together they had two children. Tony then married Judith Watson and she preceded him in death March 15, 2018. Anthony retired from General Motors after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing and farming. His greatest joy came from spending time with his family.
Anthony is survived by 2 children, Jennifer Seidel and William (Tracy) Seidel; 3 grandchildren, Logan Seidel, Javonia and Jadyn Thompson; 1 sister, Janet (Norm) Davis; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, John, Jim and David Seidel; wife, Judith Ann Seidel.
