KETTERER, STEPHEN P. III– Of Grand Blanc, age 79, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Deacon Dennis Pennell officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Stephen was born in Flint, Michigan on July 19, 1943, the son of Stephen and Annabelle (Kisner) Ketterer.
On August 7, 1971, he married Nancy McKenna.
He enjoyed duck hunting and fishing. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the NRA.
Mr. Ketterer retired from Buick Motor Division.
Surviving are children, Stephen and fiancé Deanna Bruder of Grand Blanc;
Joseph Tennant and fiancee’ Stacey Slabaugh of Traverse City,
Teresa Matthews and fiance’ Thomas Davison of Burton;
grandchildren, Matthew Palmiter of Florida, Patricia Henderson of Virginia and Brandon Tennant of Michigan;
great-grandchildren, Aiden, Mason, Jensen and Kaitlyn;
sister-in-law, Patricia McKenna;
brother-in-law, Dave and wife Kari McKenna.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; parents; granddaughter, Krystle and numerous others.
