Jack Lloyd Davies was born on March 5, 1939 in Flint Michigan to Lloyd Davies and Eva (Duncan) Davies. Jack graduated from Flint Central High school and was an alumnus of the University of Michigan, Flint. He was a loyal Michigan fan and attended every home game that he could. Jack was a US Army veteran and he worked in the accounting department of Buick Motor Division and later as a computer operator for EDS. He had a great sense of humor and was an avid bowler and golfer. He was a member of the Croatian- Slovene club and the Polish Legion of American Veterans. He was preceded in death by his parents, his younger brother Dean and nephews Jeffrey and John Burns. He is survived by his sister Lynne (William) and nephews David and Gregory Burns. Jack wished to be cremated and he will be interred at the Great Lakes National Cemetery. He will be missed by his family and friends. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
