Mary Ann "Marion" Lorenc went home to Jesus on December 16, 2021 at age 94. She was born April 23rd, 1927, to the late Louis and Sophie Szabo. Mary Ann married the love of her life, Joseph on January 20, 1944 in Flint, Michigan. They went on to have five children, Jo Ann (Robert) Oles, Diane (Thomas) Lengyel, Joseph III (Karen) Lorenc, Denise (Joseph) Macko, and Darlene (Allen) Gamble.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Mary Ann also loved trips to the casino and weekly luncheons. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. Mary Ann joins her husband Joseph, siblings Louis (Elsie) Szabo, Florence (Al) Jones and in-law Robert Odle, Sam Rich, Augusta and Anne Madaras in Heaven.
She is survived by siblings Sally Rich, Steven (Joyce) Szabo and in-law Elanor Odle. Her twelve grandchildren Kevin (Michele) Oles, Michael (Valerie) Oles, Matthew Oles, Jennifer (Jason) Grai, Tony (Dori) Lengyel, Lisa (Greg) Maul, Shawna (Paul) Gurgul, Kelly (Rodi) Pierce, Ashley (Adam) Keen, Kristi Macko (Dr. Charles Andrew Chacko), AJ Gamble, and Kelsey Gamble. In addition to thirteen great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to loving friend and neighbors Mary and Amy Hackett.
Due to COVID, a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
