RAY, Jimmy Darrel - Of Grand Blanc, age 73, died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Monday, December 12, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Deacon Omar Odette officitaing.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 10am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Jimmy was born in Silverdale, Missouri on July 28, 1949, the son of the late Chester and Willetta Ray. Jimmy graduated from Ainsworth High School, Class of 1967. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf, watching U of M football and gardening, His current pleasure was visiting his grandsons, Max and Jack.
Surviving are children, Jessica Ray (Matthew Slotwinski) of Sarnia, Ontario and Jacob Ray of Florida;
mother of his children and friend, Sue (Hayes) Ray;
grandsons, Max and Jack Slotwinski;
niece, Theresa (Tom) Recker and their family;
nephew, Steve (Elsa) Ray and their family.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers, Kenneth and Harold Ray and sister, Louise Arseneault.
