Wilkins, Barbara “Barb”- of Montrose, age 81, died Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary’s of Saginaw. Funeral services will be at 1PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Montrose. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 11AM until time of service.
Barb was born July 18, 1940, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Shirley and Ella (Somers) Parks. She graduated from Montrose High School with the class of 1958. Barb married Donald Wilkins on December 18,1959. She owned and operated Barb’s Beauty Salon for 52 years. Barb loved being outside working in the yard or her flower beds. If you knew Barb, you knew she was an immaculate cleaner which she took pride in. She was a great wife, mom, and grandmother. Above all she will be greatly missed by many.
Surviving are husband of 62 years Donald Wilkins; Daughters: Teri Allard and DoniKay (Ted) Deming; Grandchildren: Jeff (Tania) Allard, Brian Allard, Johlyn (Anthony) Heystek, Brittany (Pete) Martin, Kaylen (Deli Delagarza) Deming, and Kyle (Audrey) Deming; 16 wonderful great grandchildren; Siblings: Colleen (Larry) David, Daryll (Mary) Parks; Brother- in- law, Al Espinoza; Best friend, Pat Biggs. She was preceded in passing by sister, Ruth Ann Espinoza, Great grandson, Johnny Delagarza, and son-in-law, Buddy Allard.
