PATSY, Joyce – Of Swartz Creek, age 84, died Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held.
Joyce was born in Flint, Michigan on June 13, 1938 the daughter of the late Arnold and Dorthy Eckler. On June 22, 1996, she married Donald Patsy and he preceded her in death on February 16, 2010. Joyce attended New Haven Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and was an excellent cook. She was employed at Buick City for 22 years, retiring on February 6, 1999. Joyce loved collecting ceramic pigs. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she loved decorating.
Surviving are children, Michael and wife Sharlene Durbin, Kelly and husband Rick Comerford, Joseph Durbin, Drew Wesenberg, Christopher and wife Connie Durbin;
daughter-in-law, Wendy;
step-daughter, Michelle and husband Jim Papa;
step-son, Jeffrey and wife Kimberly;
many grand and great-grandchildren;
and sister, Faye.
She was preceded in death by her husband, sisters, Mary Jane and Sandra, brother, Wayne and step-father, John Moore.
