GRITZINGER, Suzanne – of Davison, MI, age 87, passed away on March 17, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 1PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd. Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Lola Robson officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Meadowview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors 3-7PM Tuesday, March 22 and on Wednesday, March 23 from 11AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, in Suzanne’s memory.
Suzanne was born in Paris, IL on July 11, 1934, daughter of the late Dwight and Evelyn (Case) Daniels. She married Marvin Siple August 30, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 28, 1994. She later married Clifford Gritzinger on June 28, 1997 and he also preceded her in death on January 20, 2013. Suzanne retired from General Motors after 35 years, during which time she raised her 4 children. She was a member of both the Eagles Club of Davison as well as the VFW. Suzanne was known for being a great confidant and an active listener who always had great advice to offer. She enjoyed and excelled at shooting pool and shuffleboard. Suzanne loved spending summers up north at the cabin with evening pontoon rides with the family. She never passed up an opportunity to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. They meant the world to her and she will be greatly missed
Suzanne is survived by her 4 children, Leslie Hess, Randy (Terri) Siple, Jill Linton and Stephanie (Thomas) Sabin; grandchildren, Terra (Kristopher) Kane, Kelly (Joe) Ross, Adam (Jamie) Siple, Michael Wright and Jamie (Nick Howard) Knispel; great-grandchildren, Trace, Ryan, Karter, Madalyn and Breccan; brother, Don (Mary) Daniels; special friend, Marvin Nowland; and many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine Siple; son-in-law, Greg Hess; and sister, Mary Lou Kelly.
