WAGNER, Emma – of Clio, age 92, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2023, at Cranberry Park in Clio. Funeral services will be held 11AM Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Bethany United Methodist Church – 353 E. Vienna St., in Clio. Rev. Kayla Roosa officiating. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 4PM until 8PM, and at the church on Wednesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.
Emma was born September 30, 1930, in Flint, Michigan to the late Peter and Maria (Wunder) Lehr. She married Keith Wagner on October 14, 1950, and he preceded her in death November 11, 2010. Emma was a faithful member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Clio. She enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, garage sales, and watching all sports. Emma always had a wonderful time playing cards with her card club of 50 years. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports. They all held a special place in her heart.
Surviving are: Children: Karen (Terry) Cassidy, Dean (Jan) Wagner, Dale (Gisele) Wagner, Kelly (Matt) Wangler, and Eric (Hollie) Wagner; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. Emma was also preceded in death by: 2 Grandchildren and 7 siblings. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cardinal Hospice – especially nurse Hallie, and the staff at Cranberry Park for all their kindness, love and care.
