HEWITT, JANICE – Of Swartz Creek, age 84, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at Ascension Genesys.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 15, 2022 at New Haven Field House Church, 5213 Linden Road, Swartz Creek, Pastor Larry Rednower officiating.
Visitation 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Haven Field House Church.
Mrs. Hewitt will be at church 10:30 a.m. Friday until the time of the service.
Janice was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on November 27, 1937, the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (Lang) Montague.
She was a founding member of Hill Road Baptist Church.
She was an American Star Farmer and farmed for over 80 years.
Surviving are children, Fay (Lyle) Yager, Donna (Michael) Hewitt and Lonnie (Julie) Hewitt;
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
like a son, Kevin Mignault and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald David Hewitt.
