NORD, Maria T. – of Clio, age 83, died on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Cranberry Park in Clio. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. No services are planned at this time.
Maria was born February 13, 1937 in Flint, Michigan to the late Leonardo and Rose Marie (Ausiello) Pavia. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1954. Maria loved working at Hallmark in the Genesee Valley Mall and was the manager there for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Maria enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children: Donald (Janet) Nord, Jr., John Nord, Leonard Nord, Maria Fauth, Angelina Smith, and Coleen Nord; Grandchildren: Amber (Jerry) Gagnon, Megan (Wesley) Brown, Jeremy (Tricia) Nord, Kristan Smith, Courtney (Joshua) Olszewski, Ericka Smith, Shelby (John) Davis, Christopher and Shaun Fauth; Great grandchildren: Abigail and Avery Gagnon, Ryen and Ryder Allen, Reece Brown, Radley Brown, Owen and Blake Olszewski, Jori and Vallyn Nord, Jacob, Kayd, Jonathan, Madison, Gloria, Tristan, and Zane; Brother, Gaspare (Rozanna) Pavia; Sister, Angelina (Gaylord) Day. The family extends a special thank you to the caregivers at Cranberry Park, and Cardinal Hospice – especially, Lisa for all their compassionate love and care.
