Rose Mary Farrer, age 90, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Rose was born in Flint, Michigan on July 15, 1933 to the late Cecil and Josephine (Bower) Morris. Rose worked as a secretary for AC Spark Plugs for many years and she also devoted her time volunteering at the Flint Osteopathic Hospital.
Rose was a past member of the Eastern Stars of Grand Blanc, Michigan. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Montrose. She love to sew and knit, she was known for making some of the most beautiful quilts. Rose enjoyed making ceramics, gardening , fishing and traveling. She was very family oriented she loved her family very much. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
Rose leaves to cherish her memory, sons; David ( Kathy) Birdsley, Michael (David) Middler-Morris and Dale(Barbara) Birdsley, sister; Patricia Hatfield, many grandchildren,great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Farrer, son; Matthew Birdsley, and sisters, Lorraine,Yvonne and Joanne.
A memorial visitation for Rose will be held Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 Hill Road, Grand Blanc, Michigan 48439, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.
