Clarence Phillip Moorhouse, a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2025, in Davison, Michigan, at the age of 89. Born on June 29, 1935, in Columbiaville, Michigan, Clarence was a man of faith and friendliness, whose life was a testament to his ability to touch the hearts of those around him.

Clarence was a devoted family man, deeply loved by his wife Marilyn and children: Jeffrey, Joni, Joel (Beckie), James (Micheline), Jon, and Jennifer (Daniel), his sister Carol Crum, and a doting grandfather to 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with the joyous expectation of one more on the way. His legacy of love and guidance will continue to flourish in their lives. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Kathleen, his first wife Rosalie, his siblings Bill, Marion, Fred, and Jeanette, his son Jerald, and his grandson James. Each of them held a special place in his heart, and his memories with them were cherished until his last days.

Throughout his life, Clarence was a pillar of his community, embodying the spirit of service and compassion. As a past member and deacon at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, he led the senior ministry program with dedication and grace, providing support and fellowship to many before retiring. His commitment to his faith community was unwavering, and his impact on the lives he touched was profound.

Clarence was a man of many talents, often referred to as a jack of all trades. His hands were rarely still, as he found joy in fixing, building, and improving anything within his reach. His love for golfing was only matched by his passion for fishing, pursuits that allowed him to embrace the beauty of nature and the thrill of the sport. Clarence's friends and family will fondly remember the countless hours spent on the green and by the water, sharing stories and laughter.

Described as faith-filled, handy, and friendly, Clarence's character was the foundation upon which he built his life. His warm smile and generous spirit were a beacon of light to all who knew him. He approached every challenge with a can-do attitude, and his resilience inspired those around him to persevere through their own trials.

Funeral service 12:00 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where family and friends may visit 10:30 AM till time of service. Pastor Allan Duce officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. Memorial contributions in memory of Clarence may be made to the church.
