LLOYD, Rodney Maxwell "Max" - age 15 of Fenton, passed away on November 25, 2024. Max was a cherished son, brother, grandson, and friend, and he will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service to celebrate Max's life will be held at 3 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Freedom Center Church, located at 2473 W Shiawassee Ave, Fenton, MI 48430. The family invites friends to join them for visitation from 1 PM to 3 PM at the church prior to the service. Born on June 30, 2009, in Flint, Michigan, Max was the beloved son of Rodney Taylor and Beth Anne (Rubley) Lloyd. He was a dedicated student at Fenton High School, where he excelled academically. Max was interested in finance and business and he enjoyed helping his dad make financial investments. Max participated as a member of the Fenton Marching Tigers marching band, showcasing his talent on the clarinet. He was active in athletics, representing his school on the boys tennis team and in track. Max is survived by his loving parents, Rodney and Beth; his younger siblings, Jack Garrett Lloyd and Anna Faith Lloyd; his grandparents, D. Kent Rubley and Mardi Baumann, Rodney (Linda) Lloyd, and Donna Lloyd; his aunts and uncles, Sara (Barry) Miller and Jacquelyn Marie (Stephen Horan) Lloyd; his treasured cousins, Chase, Gavin, and Caleb; as well as his beloved dogs Nugget and Coco. He also leaves behind many other relatives and friends whose lives he touched with his kindness and joy. Max was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carol Rubley, who will surely welcome him in the next life. The Lloyd family expresses their gratitude for the love and support from the community during this difficult time. Max will always be remembered for his vibrant spirit, sense of humor, quick wit, and the love he so freely gave to those around him.
