COLMER, Cynthia Ann - of Clio, age 60, died peacefully on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at Ascension St. Mary’s in Saginaw. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A memorial service will be held at 1PM Saturday, March 12, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10AM until the time of service at 1PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Compassus Hospice - Angels Foundation.
Cynthia was born November 1, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, to Phillip and Margaret (Zeleznikar) Potter. She graduated from Clio High School with the class of 1980. Cynthia worked at a restaurant as a server where she met the love of her life, Philip Wayne Colmer. On August 3, 2007, Cynthia and Philip were married during a ceremony of love in Davison. She was very proud of her family, and always wanted what was best for the ones she loved. Cynthia’s greatest joy was her grandchildren and loved to brag about them to everyone she knew. She knew the love for her Lord and had a pure heart of gold. Cynthia found true passion in flower gardening, collecting angels, and caring for others. She would spend her spare time visiting with the elderly at local nursing homes where she took extra time to listen to stories they would tell. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Surviving are: Husband, Philip Colmer; Children: Daniel Bailey, Dustin (Cortney) Bailey, Phil Colmer, Benjamin (Becky) Colmer, and Stephanie Dean; Grandchildren: Olyvia Bailey, Oliver Bailey, Payton Colmer, Hudson Colmer, Addie Colmer, Dawson Colmer, and Reighan Dean; Father, Phillip Potter; Siblings: Sherrie (Mark) Purcell and William Potter; Niece, Amie (Sergio); Nephew, Andrew (Ashley); Mother and father in law, Joyce and Fred Dyer; Brothers in law: Ken Colmer and family, Jim Colmer and family, Dennis Colmer and family.
