Philip Blaine Goldman (Phil), 78, of Grand Blanc, MI, passed away on November 27th, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones at Anchored Heart in Goodrich, MI. We find comfort in knowing he is now resting in the hands of the Lord, may he rest in peace.
Funeral service will be held at The Rock Church, 11499 Linden Road, Fenton on Wednesday, December 4th, 2024, Pastor Jeff Hartman officiating.
Visitation from 10am-12pm and 1pm-2pm, with church service at noon. Burial will happen at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. Swartz Funeral Home is handling the cremation.
Phil was born in Flint, MI to Martin (Mates) and Shirlye Goldman on April 30th, 1946. He attended high school at Flint Southwestern. He was drafted into the Army where he served for 2 years. He worked multiple jobs but was most well known as sales manager at Hank Graff and co-owner at Suski Chevrolet. A people person, he enjoyed his family, vacationing in Miami, FL, and eating at Joe’s Stone Crab.
Phil is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Goldman (Barb) married 45 years, children Colleen Sweet, Cami Goldman, Brad Goldman, Blaine Goldman [Tara], Paige Benson [Derek], brother Lawrence Goldman [Jan], including 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily Rapson.
In lieu of flowers or memorial, donations may be made to your local church or The Rock Church at 11499 Linden Road, Fenton, MI 48430. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Anchored Heart of Goodrich, MI and all the family and friends who supported the family during this time.
