YATES, Rosemary (Benore) - Of Grand Blanc, age 100, died Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Brookdale Assisted Living.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10am Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 S. Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Father Tom Nenneau officiating.
Visitation 9am Wednesday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Holy Family Outreach Program of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Rosemary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 22, 1923, the daughter of the late Leo and Pearl (Babcock) Benore. She was a member of Holy Family Church for 62 years. Rosemary enjoyed golf, skiing, painting, and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with family at their cottages in northern Michigan.
Surviving are daughter, Rene’ McLaughlin, sons, John III, Brad (Carol), and Keith (Kelli);
grandchildren, Heather, Erin, Scott, Jeff, Megan, Mike, Emily, Andy, Kevin, Ben, Sarah, Stuart, Sidney and Samantha;
15 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Jr., daughter, Charlene, brothers, Edsel, Charles and Phillip Benore and sister, Jane Figula.
