BURTON, Shirley Ann (Ringlein) - Age 92, of Lennon, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at her home. A funeral ceremony will take place at 11:00 AM, Monday, December 18, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Dana Beland will preside with burial following in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 17 and again from 10:00 AM until the time of service Monday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Shirley was born on May 9, 1931 in Flint the daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Nemeth) Ringlein. She graduated from Mary Crapo School in Swartz Creek in 1949. Shirley was an accountant for the State of Michigan for 17 years before her retirement in 1992. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she enjoyed flowers and hummingbirds.
She is survived by her children, Melanie and Joe Domingez of Tumcarci, NM, Bruce and Vickie Tallman of Flint, Debra Tallman of Lennon, Diane and Clem Cronkright of Lennon, Bonnie Angell of Gaines, Connie and Craig Stalnaker of Otter Lake, Gregg Tallman of Lake Worth, FL; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters in-law, Sharlene Ringlein, Anita Tallman, and Marge Tallman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Tallman, second husband, Bill Burton; daughter, Cynthia Gray; brothers, Charles and Ronald "Pete" Ringlein; and grandchildren, Chad Cronkright, Jennifer Culpitt, Jacoby LeCureux and J.W.
