Jean “Rocky” Rock Morin, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2025, at the age of 78.
Born on March 6, 1947, Rocky was a man whose warmth, strength, and generosity touched all who knew him.
Rocky shared a beautiful life with his late wife, Mickey Morin, whom he married in 1983 in Flint, MI. Together, they built a family rooted in love and laughter, raising two children, Steven Morin and Sabrina Morin. Rocky was a proud and devoted grandfather to Priscilla Morin, always finding joy in her smile and presence.
As the owner of JRM Enterprises, Rocky poured over three decades of hard work and dedication into his construction business, leaving a lasting mark on both his community and those fortunate enough to work alongside him. Outside of work, he could often be found on the golf course, savoring warm summer days and the company of good friends.
Rocky is survived by his loving children, Steven Morin (wife Summer Awad) and Sabrina Morin; his adored granddaughter, Priscilla Morin; and his sisters, Lise Morin (husband Claude Giguère and their daughters Marie-France and Marie-Claude), Lucille Morin, Ghislaine Morin (husband Bernard Pépin and their daughter Maryse), Clémence Morin (her children Carl and Marie-Pier), and Julie Morin (husband Paul Giroux and their children Marie-Ève and Samuel).
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mickey Morin, and his devoted parents, Cordélia Veilleux and Gustave Morin.
Rocky’s legacy of kindness, hard work, and unwavering love will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
