TORRES, Brigette Lynn – of Flushing, age 46, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022, at 11AM at Hurley Medical Center surrounded by her loved ones. Honoring her wishes, cremation will be taking place. A time of sharing will be held at 2:30PM Saturday, December 17, 2022, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 11AM until the time of sharing at 2:30PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation.
Brigette was born March 30, 1976, in Flint, Michigan. She was the daughter of Mervin and Denise Eggert, and the late Ricardo W. Torres. Brigette enjoyed spending time fishing at the family cabin in Presque Isle, floating in the pool, sunbathing, and listening to music. Her favorite thing to do was watch her Detroit Lions and eating tacos with her family. Brigette’s most proud moments as a mother were watching her children pursue their passions – her son playing football and her daughter in competitive dance. Ricardo and Annalycia were her world.
Brigette is survived by: Son, Ricardo (Zoe) Aleman; Daughter, Annalycia Day; Parents, Denise and Mervin Eggert; Brothers: Brad (Laura) Eggert, and Joseph Torres (Monica); Sister, Susan Glusica; Soul sister, JoAnn Naylor; Special friend, Joseph Echlin; Godparents, John and Chris Torres; Nieces: Kadey, Michelle, Justice, and Morgan; Nephews: Julius and Joseph; Great niece and nephew: Lyndsie and Emery; Many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brigette was also preceded in death by: Grandparents: Joseph (Aleta) Gothier, Carlos (Elvira) Torres, and Sherman (Mary) Eggert.
