BUTTS, Doris Jean - Of Grand Blanc, age 88, died Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Robert Easlick officiating.
Visitation 12Noon Saturday, January 11, 2025 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Linden United Methodist Church.
Doris was born in Flint, Michigan on May 2, 1936, the daughter of the late Andrew and Beatrice (Brookes) Streeter. She married Jack Butts on November 5, 1955 in Grand Blanc. Doris loved to travel, playing cards with her family and most of all she enjoyed her once a month lunches with the girls of Grand Blanc.
Surviving are sons, Mark and wife Diane Butts of Swartz Creek,
Norman and wife Kathy Butts of Linden;
grandchildren, Tyler, Benjamin and Danielle Butts;
great-grandchildren, Jackson, Sydney, Dean, Andrew and Adylyn;
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, brother, Terry Streeter, brother and sister-in-law, Lee and Evelyn Williams and Clare and Joyce Butts.
