JOZWIAK, Lawrence Andrew - Age 53, of Flushing, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021. Funeral Mass will take place 11 AM, Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N Cherry St, Flushing. Fr. Anthony Brooks will officiate with burial to follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11 AM to 2 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Rosary will be prayed Thursday night at the funeral home at 6 PM and will be live streamed on our website. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee County Humane Society, Carriage Town Ministries or the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. Lawrence was born on June 8, 1967 in Flint the son of Jerome and Florence (Rust) Jozwiak. He graduated from Swartz Creek High School, Class of 1985. Lawrence worked for 31 years as a pressman for several printing companies. His most recent work was driving transportation for MTA and PACE. Lawrence and Angela Dumanois were united in marriage on June 3, 1995 in Flint. He was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and St. Mary Queen of Angels, Swartz Creek. Lawrence enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a Jedi Master of Euchre. Lawrence was the "Mayor" of Randeeville. He is survived by his wife, Angela Jozwiak; 2 children, Nicholas Jozwiak and Veronica Jozwiak (Cole Beahlen); 6 siblings, Denise Purzycki, Dennis (Alma) Jozwiak, Jeanette Jozwiak, Bernadette Jozwiak, Colleen (Ron) Jeffery and Loretta (Steve) Welch; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, God children and special friend, Vera Switalski. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Florence Jozwiak; and grandparents, Sophia and William Rust and Joseph and Leokadya Jozwiak. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Hurley Medical Center on units 7 East, 5 East, ICCU and ICU for their excellent care.
