Blake C. Shettler age 69 of Cadillac, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Munson Cadillac Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Family will receive friends on Friday, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service.
Blake C. Shettler was born July 1, 1952 in Durand, a son of Gerald and Joy (Borton) Shettler. On December 2, 1972 he married Janet Williamson. He enjoyed camping, traveling, riding bikes, food, cooking, spending time with friends and family. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed by Machine Tool and Gear of Corunna for over 20 years.
Blake is survived by his wife, Janet Shettler; sons, Ryan (Christina) Shettler, Aaron (Chel) Shettler and Micah (Katie) Shettler; grandchildren, River, Solan, Hayden, Vaughn, Tyler, Lydia, Rhett, and Raylan; sisters, Gerri Lynn and Amanda; brothers, Carl, Jeremy, Kevin, Casey, and Michael; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Joy.
