FOURNIER, Harold – of Davison, age 82, passed away August 21, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield Rd., Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Saturday at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church or Grace Hospice, 4444 W. Bristol Rd., #320, Flint, MI 48507.
Harold was born in Flint, MI on February 20, 1936, son of the late Louis and Margaret (Hickey) Fournier. He married Patricia Mauldin on October 14, 1961. Harold graduated from Technical High School in 1954 and earned an associate’s degree from Flint Junior College in 1956. Harold proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1959-1964. He worked for Buick Motor Division for 38 years, retiring in 1994. Harold was also a proud member of the Retired Men’s Fellowship of Greater Flint and Treasurer of the Senior Travel Club. He was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. Harold enjoyed every moment with his grandchildren and with his family. He also enjoyed cooking (his goulash and Swiss steak were the best!), traveling, going for joy rides in the car and having a fun time with whomever he was around.
Harold is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Michael of Eastpointe and Thomas (Penny) of Byron; daughter, Suzanne (Neil) Maguire of Los Gatos, CA; grandchildren, Zachary (Tina), Taylor, Erin, Sean and Tate; brother, Gordon (Ann) of Morrow, OH; best friend, Tom Gorzenski of Fenton; sister-in-law, Jackie Fournier; brother-in-law, Al (Marilyn) Trudeau; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by sister, Arlene Trudeau; brothers, Robert and Gerald Fournier.
