STAM, Kathryn Joyce - of Linden, age 73, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 in her home.
A memorial service will be held in her honor on November 30th at 12:00 pm with visitation preceding the service at 11:00 am at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 W Hill Rd. Flint, MI 48507 with Pastor Josh Combs presiding. Kathryn chose to be cremated.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 20, 1948, daughter of Andy and Evelyn (Roberts) Rees who preceded her in death.
She was a member of Faith City Church in Fenton and strong in her love for God. She enjoyed reading, watching sports and spending time with her family. Her three grandsons were her pride and complete joy. She especially enjoyed attended their sporting events and she was present at all of their special occasions.
She retired in 2011 after serving several years in customer service and sales.
Surviving are Kathryn’s one daughter Kim (Scott) Keisel, of Grand Blanc, three grandsons Elijah (16), Lucas (11) and Jonah (9); and brother, David (Teresa) Rees.
