STOBBELAAR, Kimberly Sue, age 60, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at Ascension Genesys. A funeral service will take place at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM until the time of service on Wednesday. Those desiring may direct memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
Kim was born on February 16, 1963 in Alpena, Michigan the daughter of the late Robert and Patricia (Stevens) Grzeskowiak. She was united in marriage to Mark Stobbelaar on January 4, 1992 in Swartz Creek. Kim was a devoted wife, mom, nana, sister and aunt. She loved the outdoors, going boating, snowmobiling, riding ATVs, and camping. Kim enjoyed going up north to the cabin and she enjoyed the wildlife around. She will always be remembered for the holiday occasions, cooking and tending to her family.
Kim is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Mark Stobbelaar; daughter, Amber (Adam) Levely; grandsons, Aidan, Evan and Brennan Levely; siblings, Julie (Jeff) Partington, Robert (Shelly) Grzeskowiak and Stephen (Faith) Grzeskowiak; and many nieces and nephews.
