WICKER, Kamarae (Kami) – of Grand Blanc, MI, age 51, passed away on January 23rd, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at her home. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 27th, 2024, at The Rock Church, 11499 Linden Rd., Fenton, MI; with Emery Anstett officiating. The family will receive visitors at noon and service to follow at 1PM.
Kami was born in Flint, MI on April 25, 1972, daughter of the late Barry and Jeannine (Baxter) McPheeters. She married Robert Wicker on March 27th, 2020, in Grand Blanc, MI. Kami was a Special Education Science Teacher at Linden High School. Her hobbies included baking, knitting, watching football, hosting gatherings, and most of all being surrounded by family and friends. She always told her children “The most important thing you can do today is be a good person”.
Kami is survived by her husband, Rob; children, Stryker, Sterling (Austin), and Seeger (Lauren) DeGayner, bonus children, Libby (Alex) Gardner, brother, Trenton (Amber) McPheeters, beloved puppy Kash; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.
