Horwath, Gary John - Age 64, of Burton, died July 27, 2021. Memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday, July 31 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 12 PM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to The American Heart Association or American Cancer Society. Gary was born June 15, 1957 in Flint, the son of John J. and Lila (Jensen) Horwath. He retired from General Motors and served as a U.A.W. committee man. Gary dedicated his life to his family. He was the worlds best husband, father, grandpa/ papa and Cat daddy. Gary was a friend to all. He was an avid Nascar fan and was a sports enthusiast. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren wrestle and dance. Everyone that knew him had their own special bond. He made the effort to have a meaningful relationship with each person. Gary is survived by his wife, Sondra: 7 children, Chris (Tasha) Horwath, Angie Herriman (Joe Pisasale), Michael (Janie) Horwath, Jeff (Cathy) Bailey, Scott (Tracy) Bailey, Todd (Chrissy) Bailey, Stacy (John) Seeley; 19 grandchildren, Tyler, Kayli, Caden, Brooks, Skyelar, Evan, Haley, Leticcia, Alicia, Ella, Andrea, Adam, Chase, Hunter, Brendan, Alec, Nathan, Allison, Madelyn; 4 great-grandchildren, James, Jack, Jackson, and Amelia. He had a special love for his 4 cats, Momma Kitty, Kalvan, Ruby and Kaleb. A special thanks to Hurley's ICU staff, nurses and doctors. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
