VOELKER, Arlene - Of Goodrich, age 82, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at her residence.
A private funeral service will be held at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Chaplain Bruce Lawton officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Those desiring may make contributions to McLaren Hospice.
Visitation 11:30am-12:30pm Monday, January 4, 20201 at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Arlene was born in Flint, Michigan on July 1, 1938, the daughter of the late George and Katherine (Schneider) Bush. She retired from General Motors in 1996 after more than 30 years of service. Arlene loved cooking and baking.
Surviving are daughter, Melissa and husband Matt Coolman;
son, Todd and wife Cindy Voelker;
grandchildren, Alec, Mariah, Jacob, Molly, Olivia and Maddie;
sisters, Rachel Debus, and Anna and husband Ruben Miller;
brother, Donald and wife Jalonne Bush;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jack Voelker, daughter, Jill Voelker, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
