Windle, Mable L. of Flushing, age 99, died Friday, May 29, 2020, at Caretel of Linden. Private funeral services will be held with interment at Crestwood Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Flushing United Methodist Church or Elf Khurafeh Shriners.
Mable was born in Flint, Michigan on December 23, 1920, the daughter of Bruce Elymer and Mabel Louisa (Bentley) Hillaker. She married Herbert Richard Windle on April 9, 1939. He preceded her in death on September 26, 1978. Mable retired from Buick Motor Division after 29 years. She loved to travel and enjoyed playing Bridge and Canasta. Mable was a longtime member of Flushing United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. After retirement, Mable started her own business of managing rental properties. Mable loved her boxer dogs throughout the years.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Tom and wife Jennifer Windle, Beth and husband Carl Ammerman, Rodney and wife Melynda Parker, Amy and husband Brent Stimac, Mike and wife Amanda Windle; great-grandchildren, Brian (Jessica) Windle, Nicole Windle ( C.J. LaBaron), Matthew Ammerman, Kristin Ammerman, Philip Parker, William Parker, Kaity Kaake, Nikolas Stimac, Emily Stimac, Jonathan Windle, Maggie Windle; and son-in-law, Stephen Parker. Mable was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Mary Sue Windle; and daughter, Barbara Parker.
