Our Mother, Marjorie A Sanborn, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2021, surrounded by the love of her children. Marjorie was born on May 17, 1926 daughter of Adeline and James Brookmier. She was educated in Flint, Michigan and
Met her husband and love of her life, right after graduation and married within 3 months of meeting. They were married 63 years before the death of her husband Herbert “Zeke” Sanborn. They had 3 children , Linda (Alan) Dickenson, Deborah (Bill)
Lewis, and Herbert (Renee) Sanborn ll. They had 8 grandchildren and 8 great grand-
Children. Also, many nieces and nephews. Special friend Pat Harding.
Marjorie loved to play cards, and usually you could find a deck of cards in her purse.
She loved her family and friends and was great fun and very opinionated! She was a life
Time member of the VFW Auxiliary, member of the Secord Lake Eagles and a member of the Houghton Lake Elks. She resided in Bonita Springs, Florida, in Citrus Park/Bonita
Terra as a “Snowbird” since the mid 80’s.
She was presided in death by her parents, her brother Phillip Brookmier and her sister Mary Louise Bleck.
She will be laid to rest in the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan with her husband. |
