LINTZ, Clifford – Of Beaverton, age 93, died Thursday, January 2, 2014 in Auburn Hills.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014
Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Clifford was born in Flint, Michigan on August 12, 1920, the son of the late Ruben and Pearl (Dye) Lintz.
On June 6, 1942 he married Stella Svinarich and she preceded him in death on May 10, 2007.
He was a resident of the Flint area until June 1, 1980 when he moved to Beaverton.
Surviving are daughter, Janice K. and husband Mark K. Davis;
grandchildren, Clifford M. and wife Michelle Davis, Alexander A. LaPratt;
great-grandchildren, Clifford R., Abigail and Ethan Davis;
sisters, Madeline Johnson and
Marsha Dee (Robert) Spaly;
sisters-in-law, Lois (Art) Curtis, Ann Heidenreich and Agnes Svinarich;
brothers-in-law, Robert Svinarich and Vid Svinarich;
also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; grandson, Christopher A. Davis; brothers, Douglas and Robert Lintz.
