CROTHERS, Marylou – Of Flint, age 84, died Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Lapeer County Medical Care Facility, with her daughter by her side.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Central Church of the Nazarene, 1261 West Bristol Road, Flint, Dr. Steve Anthony officiating. Visitation will be held 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at church.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Flint Central Nazarene Missions.
Marylou was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 6 1938, the daughter of the late Bernard and Rachel (Copley) Eldridge and was a resident of Flint most of her life.
On September 15, 1956 she married Clark Crothers.
She was an active member of the Central Church of the Nazarene Church for 60 years, where she attended the Seekers Sunday School Class. Marylou enjoyed reading, crafts and going to church camp.
Surviving are husband of 66 years, Clark;
2 children, Rosalie “Rosi” Evans and husband Bruce Krol of Davison,
Scot and wife Cathy of Union, KY;
grandchildren, Cari and husband David Randall,
Sarah and husband Joel Allen,
Rachel Crothers,
Caleb and wife Annie Evans,
Hannah and husband Ben Speakman;
her beloved granddog, Cooper;
great-grandchildren, Aimee, David and Kimberly Randall,
Liam, Olivia and Alexandra Allen,
Koltyn Williams,
Isabella Evans and Chloe Wykes;
sisters-in-law, Jan Eldridge Patricia (Jim) Marshall;
brother-in-law, Roger and wife Anita Crothers;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Walter and Bernard Eldridge; sister, Barbara Wilson.
