BOWE, Wyatt “Peanut” A. – of Flint, MI, age 81, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-1 PM Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Allen Funeral Home.
Wyatt was born in Ward, West Virginia on May 30, 1940, son of the late Alvie and Bessie (Elswick) Bowe. He married June S. Anders on August 19, 1961 in Flint, MI and she preceded him in death on November 6, 2015. On December 21, 2019, Wyatt married Debby (McKinstry) Pratt. He retired from General Motors after 35 years of service. Wyatt enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, watching Westerns and visiting his family and friends in West Virginia. He was also a devoted NASCAR fan.
Wyatt is survived by his wife, Debby Bowe; 2 children, Jeffery (Raedean) Bowe and Christi Hillaker; step-daughter, Michelle (Pat) Marx; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvie and Bessie Bowe; first wife, June S. Bowe; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
