WILLIAMS, Rodney D. - Of Flint, age 58, died Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Pastor Sarah LaRose-Nettell officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring, may make contributions to the funeral home for expenses.
Visitation 2 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Rodney was born in Flint, Michigan on July 29, 1964, the son of the late John and Geraldine (Thiel) Williams.
Rodney was a biker and was a member of the Flying Wheels. He was a very dedicated race car driver, mostly at Auto City and was a DJ for years at the Peppermint Lounge.
Motorcycles and race cars were his life.
Surviving are son, Ryan Williams;
fiancee’ Brenda Powell;
brother, Mike (Arlene) Adams;
nephew, Michael Adams;
nieces, Jessica (Brian) Fox and Jennifer (Matt) Hornak.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Adams.
