MAIER, Kristyn Deanna - Age 54, of Durand, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later Date. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek.
Kristyn was born July 16, 1968 in Flint, the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Smith) Jedrzejas. She married Jeffrey F. Maier in Linden, May 27, 1989. Kristyn graduated from Fenton High School and attended U of M Flint. She was a homemaker and later a Substitute Teacher in the Byron School District. Kristyn enjoyed spending time at the lake, camping, genealogy, and crafts. She especially enjoyed supporting and coaching her children's sporting teams.
Kristyn is survived by: her husband, Jeff; children, Amelia (Ryan) McInerney; Jonathan Maier, Marian Maier, Patreice Maier; grandchildren, Kevin and William; parents, Elizabeth Jedrzejas and David (Gloria) Jedrzejas; sisters, Claudia (Shawn) Smith, and Rachel Jedrzejas; father and mother-in law, Ron and Cheryl Maier; and several nieces and nephews.
