Roth, Janice Ann (Root) - of National City, formally of Mount Morris, MI age 80 died Wednesday August 11, 2021 at Lakeview Nursing Home in Tawas City, MI. Due to Janice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
Mrs. Roth was born on October 8, 1940, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alton and Pearl (Spencer) Root. She was joined together in marriage to Leroy Roth in 1959.
Janice was a volunteer for the Mount Morris Wrestling team and worked with Minnesota Woolen Clothing, Colonel Lane Bowling Alley with several jobs in between before becoming a bus driver for Mount Morris Schools. After retiring in 2010 she went to Florida for the winter months finally coming back and moving to National City when her health started to decline.
Janice was a member of the Auto City Eagles Aries 3485 and a member of the American Legion in Avon Park Florida.
She is survived by three sons, Bradley of National City, Gordon and Charlotte of Mount Morris, Thomas and Tonda of National City and her only grandson Jarrett Roth of National City, Michigan. Brother and sisters-in-law Carolyn Watkins of Flint, Mary and Larry Cross of Tawas, Fred and Shirley Roth of Clio, Sue Roth of Las Vegas and Larry and Sharon Roth of Mount Morris. Several cousins, nephews and nieces.
Janice was preceded in death by husband Leroy, Parents Alton and Pearl Root, Uncle Alden and Aunt Pat Root. |
