Kim D. Beard age 59 of Byron, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Memorial Healthcare Center. A funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes, Durand Chapel. Burial will follow to Byron Cemetery. Pastor Nick Boeke will be officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until the time of the service.
Kim David Beard was born September 23, 1963 in Durand, a son of Kenneth and Priscilla (King) Beard. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Durand and he enjoyed hunting. Prior to his retirement, he had owned and operated Beard's Party Store and Beard's Supermarket for over 25 years.
Kim is survived by his mother, Priscilla Beard; brothers, Kenneth (Terri) Beard Jr., Kevin Beard and Steve (Laurie) Beard; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Beard Sr.
