Kathleen Lynn (O'Neill) Kolton, was born March 11, 1947 in Detroit, Michigan to Eugene and Sophie (Sudom) O'Neill. She passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 peacefully with her loved ones by her side at the age of 76 years. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, August 25 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Rd. Fenton. Visitation will be held 9 AM Friday, August 25 until the time of the service at 11 AM at the church. Interment in Lakeside Cemetery, Holly. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc. She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene O'Neill; mother, Sophie Sudom O'Neill; brother, Danny O'Neill. Surviving are her husband of 28 years, John Kolton; siblings, Nancy (O'Neill) Holton, Cheryl (O'Neill) Ruiz, Patti O'Neill, and Gene O'Neill; stepchildren, Chad Kolton, Jamie (Kolton) VanNest; 5 step-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who called her Aunt Kee Kee. She loved all her nieces and nephews very much and they adored her. Kathy's final job before retiring was as a para pro working with handicapped children. She loved helping special needs children. Kathy enjoyed golfing, fishing, vacationing in Florida and most of all spending time with her family. Kathy will be greatly missed by her family and friends until we meet again.
