Terese Kathleen Wilson Knag, age 65, died suddenly at home after a brief illness on September 6, 2025, with her loving husband Kim at her side. She was born on May 23, 1960 in Flint, Michigan, the fifth of six children born to Garry and Kathleen Wilson. She graduated from Flint Northern High School and University of Michigan—Flint. She married Kim Scott Knag on June 6, 1986, and to this union was born two daughters whom she adored, Kirstin Knag of Grand Blanc and Kelsey Knag (Eric Tran) of Orange, California. They all survive her.
Terese was hilarious and witty, a talented baker, an avid shopper, a skilled accountant, and a human abacus, spending most of her career at and retiring from the Genesee Intermediate School District. Terese remembered all manner of useless trivia and random family history. She and her family loved to travel, loved sitting on the beach, and had recently returned from a fantastic trip to Ireland.
In addition to her husband and children, Terese is survived by her mother Kathleen McDonald Wilson of Flint, siblings Julia (John) Frary of Grandview Heights, OH; Kevin (Brenda) Wilson and Michael (Colleen) Wilson of Flint; Lisa (Robert) Stadvec of Westfield Center, OH; and Maureen Wilson of Bowling Green, OH; brothers-in-law Michael (Ginny) Knag and Kevin Knag, sister-in-law Anne (Joe) Ketzler, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father Garry “Oggy” Wilson, and parents-in-law Suzie and Ernest Knag.
