HEYWORTH, Robert “Bob” – of Grand Blanc, age 76, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Bill Heyworth and Walt Rutherford co-officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. The family will welcome visitors from 10 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, in Robert’s memory.
Bob was born in Flint, Michigan on August 27, 1948, son of the late Robert and Lillian Heyworth. He married Kim on October 15, 1977 in Flint. After dedicating 30 years as an electrician at General Motors, Bob retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. His service in the U.S. Air Force was a source of pride, reflecting his dedication to his country. In his free time, Bob enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and bowling, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his warm spirit and the love he shared with those around him.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Kim; children, Robert D. Heyworth and Tim (Kim) Heyworth; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Bill (Linda) Heyworth, Sharon (Steve) Shelton, Mary (Walt) Rutherford; sister-in-law, Kris Heyworth; special friends, Randy and Carrie Springer; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Jim Heyworth and John Heyworth.
